1. Activate the yeast in the lukewarm milk with the sugar.
2. Add the egg, soft butter, salt and the yeast mixture to the flour, then knead into a smooth dough.
3. Cover and leave to rise until doubled (about 1 hour).
4. Roll into a rectangle, brush with melted butter and sprinkle with the cinnamon brown sugar.
5. Roll up, slice, and place the rolls in a tin. Prove for another 20 minutes.
6. Bake at 180°C for 22-25 minutes, then drizzle with icing made from icing sugar and a few drops of milk.
Tip: Best warm – that is when the icing melts over them beautifully.
